Yakov Binyamin is a photographer based in the U.S. and Israel, specializing in documentary work, portraits, and events. He has lived and worked in a variety of locations, documenting subjects that include the 2023 Israel-Hamas war, “Operation Guardian of the Walls” of May 2021, Mexico’s Puebla Earthquake of 2017, Los Angeles street life of the mid-2010’s, and local news of Connecticut.
His work has been featured in numerous international publications, including the BBC, the Times of Israel, the Jerusalem Post, Ynet, Israel Hayom, Walla News, Record Journal (Hearst Media), Unorthoboxed Magazine, and Punktum Magazine.
